We are building Fitco’s partner business model and looking for a strong leader to manage our Singapore operations. This role is pivotal for our success, both in the region and globally, and allows you to take personal responsibility for the leadership of our Singapore team and program. Responsibilities
Be responsible for maintaining and building the Fitco Singapore identity, corporate structures and networks
Hire and co-manage a motivated team of people
Be responsible for the success of Fitco in Singapore including:
Developing and executing the strategy for Fitco in Singapore with the global team
Recruit and attract future founder talent
Support the Fitco associate companies as they grow
Promote Fitco to partner institutions, governments, corporates, the media and regional talent
Oversee and manage day-to-day operations of Fitco’s China operations
Requirements
Higher education from a strong international institution
At least 8 - 10 years of working experience, with at least 1 - 3 years working in Singapore
Strong experience and networks within Singapore business, venture investment, government and technology/startup communities
Have previously managed multiple teams and individuals that have excelled in high-paced and challenging environments, e.g. startups, consulting, or technology companies
Proven experience from successfully managing complicated projects
Entrepreneurial experience: Having built a startup, been an early employee or invested in early stage companies is a big plus
Fluency in English mandatory and Mandarin optimally
Personal Skills
Independent and proactive with a can-do attitude
International mindset and working style, with high awareness of cultural nuances
Results-oriented and outstanding personal commitment
Comfortable with quick changes, tight deadlines and ambiguity
Excellent communications skills
Passion for entrepreneurship and belief that the world needs more change-makers and innovators
